(1) Annual Meeting

Date and time

  • 2025 Aug 31 (Sun) 01:00 – 07:00UT (10:00 – 16:00 JST)
  • The meeting will be held remotely by Zoom and broadcast by YouTube.
  • Associate members and non-members may also attend general meetings, except for voting.
  • Participants must apply in advance. Accept the Form on website.
  • Accept presentations. About 15 minutes.
    English is recommended for slides. The speech language can be anything.

Power of attorney

  • To regular members participating in the general meeting. Or, it can be a chairperson.
  • Power of attorney will be accepted via Google forms on website.

2024 December to 2025 April

  • Activity and budget plans for FY2025/26 will be discussed at the directors’
    meeting and then finalized by the end of April.

Early June

  • Release of a first announcement for the annual meeting
  • Launch a call for proposals, acceptance of requests for next year begins.
  • Create an annual meeting registration form.
  • Release announcement of FY2025/26 membership fees to start collecting.

July 1

  • Applications for annual meeting participants and presentations have started.
  • Invitation to the worldwide IOTA groups (such as IOTA, IOTA/ES) to the IOEA/EA annual meeting
  • Deadline for proposals and requests for next year

July 31

  • Deadline for FY2025/26 membership fees

around August 17

  • Publication of proposals
  • Start accepting power of attorneys of the annual meeting
  • Deadline for presentation registration of the annual meeting

August 24 (Sun)

  • Annual meeting program disclosure

August 29 (Fri)

  • Deadline for attendance of the annual meeting and acceptance of the power of attorney

August 31 (Sun)

  • FY2025/26 annual meeting 01:00～07:00 UT (10:00～16:00 JST)

(2) Built up original domain HP and File servers

The IOTA/EA web pages are temporarily hosted on a server at the Planetary Exploration Center, Chiba Institute of Technology. The data archive is located at the University of Aizu.

IOTA/EA must eventually have its own web server and data archive server. Capacity, services, fees, etc. will be discussed during this fiscal year.
