(1) Annual Meeting

Date and time

  • 2026 Aug 30 (Sun) 01:00 – 07:00UT (10:00 – 16:00 JST)
  • The meeting will be held remotely by Zoom and broadcast by YouTube.
  • Associate members and non-members may also attend general meetings, except for voting.
  • Participants must apply in advance. Accept the Form on website.
  • Accept presentations. About 15 minutes.
    English is recommended for slides. The speech language can be anything.

  1. Take a resolution on the new list of officers
  2. Reporting for 2025/26 and proposed budget plan for 2026/27
  3. Reporting for 2025/26 and proposed business plan for 2026/27
  4. The departments report and plan
  5. The other agenda

Power of attorney

  • To regular members participating in the general meeting. Or, it can be a chairperson.
  • Power of attorney will be accepted via Google forms on website.

Schedule

2025 December to 2026 April

  • Activity and budget plans for FY2026/27 will be discussed at the directors’
    meeting and then finalized by the end of April.
  • Plan for the selection of new officers following the expiration of their terms.

Early May

  •  The regeneration of officers’ announcement.

Early June

  • Release of a first announcement for the annual meeting
  • Call for proposals, next year’s requests accepted
  • Call for officer candidates accepted
  • Announcement of the start of FY2026/27 membership fee collection

Candidates for officer positions must pay their membership fees as Regular members by the end of June.

July 1st

  • Announcement of annual meeting Participants.
  • Power of attorney, and Presentation have started.
  • Deadline for proposals and requests for next year
  • Deadline for new officer candidates

Mid-July

  • Announcement of officer candidate status

July 31st

  • Deadline for FY2026/27 membership fees

around August 10th

  • Publication of proposals
  • Deadline for application for presentation
  • Open the new list of officers

August 16th (Sun)

  • Annual meeting program disclosure

August 28 (Fri)

  • Deadline for attendance of the annual meeting and acceptance of the power of attorney

(2) Built up original domain HP and File servers

The IOTA/EA web pages are temporarily hosted on a server at the Planetary Exploration Center, Chiba Institute of Technology. The data archive is located at the University of Aizu.

IOTA/EA must eventually have its own web server and data archive server. Capacity, services, fees, etc. will be discussed during this fiscal year.
