The 2nd Annual Symposium on Planetary Exploration


Aim of this symposium
The main focus of the symposium this year is placed on Martian exploration and the related science. Japan started to study of Mars exploration to be launched in 2018. Data acquired by remote sensing and in-situ observation of Mars, coupled with sample analyses, laboratory experiments and theoretical approach are crucial to understand the origin and evolution of the Mars, and to define habitability of the terrestrial planets.
